Cecilia appears in the census for Scotland (1861, 1871, 1881) with her husband Daniel Kelly and family.

Cecilia died in Port Glasgow in 1886. Her death certificate is available from Scotlands People. Her death certificate should give you names of her parents.

If you obtain the birth certificate from one of the children born in Scotland, it should give you the place and date that Cecilia and Daniel were married. For example – Eliza Kelly was born in Port Glasgow in 1857.
Milligan - Jardine – Glencross – Dinwoodie - Brown: (Dumfriesshire & Kirkcudbrightshire)
Clark – Faulds – Cuthbertson – Bryson – Wilson: (Ayrshire & Renfrewshire)
Neale – Cater – Kinder - Harrison: (Warwickshire & Queensland)
Roberts - Spry: (Cornwall, Middlesex & Queensland)
Munster: (Schleswig-Holstein & Queensland) and Plate: (Braunschweig, Neubruck & Queensland & New York)

Thank you and good morning 🌞 I have all the records of births in Port Glasgow, I've tried to upload it 3 times but it keeps saying the file is too big....I have one birth cert that states Cecelia was married in 1843 in Ireland but I'm still unsure of where? 🫤

What denomination was Cecilia? If RC, Aghanloo is part of the RC parish of Limavady.  Unfortunately their records don’t start till 1855 so if that’s where she was baptised or married, no RC records exist.

If Church of Ireland, their early records for Aghanloo were lost in the 1922 fire in Dublin, so again none to search.

If you can load the section of the birth certificate showing the 1843 marriage I’ll see if I can tell you where it was.

Hi Elwyn 😊
Yes she was RC that's why I have been unable to confirm a birth place ahhhh thankyou. The reason I have said limavady was because someone on another genealogy site had posted that's where our Cecelia was born, I did message the person but it was his father's records and he had no other info! Back to the drawing board for me 🫣

Have you followed in the Scottish census, the older children who were born in Ireland? Often the 1911 and 1921 census hold more detail about place of birth. If you know where they were born it might be close to where the marriage took place.
