Re: Help finding a death/grave
« on: Tuesday 28 January 25 21:52 GMT (UK) »
Hi all,

I am trying to find the death of Margaret Bradley born October 1904 in Broughderg

She married a Dan McCullagh born 25 March 1897.

Dans father was Edward McCullagh not sure when he died either

They could be buried in Gortin?

Any help with this would be very gratefully appreciated as i am trying to get the grave details for a good friend.

Thanks for all your help

Kieran

She married a Dan McCullagh born 25 March 1897.

This presumably was the marriage of the two (via https://geni.nidirect.gov.uk/) :

GRONI has a death for a Daniel McCullagh on 23.1.1964 aged 67 registered in Dungannon. Age and broad location fit. You might want to look at that. It’ll cost you £2.50 on the GRONI website.

Hi Everyone,

Thank you all for all your help it is very much appreciated.  Some people are just hard to find.

I can't seem to find the wedding of Edward mccullagh to Eliza McGuigan or there deaths either.

Thanks again

Kieran

Ps I have sent away to get Daniel McCullaghs obituary as this might show what graveyard he is buried in and that might even help find his parents

I can’t see the marriage either. In case you don’t have them, here’s Edward McCullagh and family in 1901:

Here is Edward McCullagh and Daniel McCullagh in 1911.

https://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1911/Tyrone/Glenlark/Oaghmonicroy/873263/

Edward is showing as married so will keep looking for Lizzie (wife), Bridget and Eddie

NB change of spelling of name from1901 McCullow to 1911 McCullagh. Variations in spelling are the name of the game so OP hope you are keeping a list of the variations you are finding so any database you come across can be searched for all variations.
