Great Salkeld
« on: Tuesday 28 January 25 18:24 GMT (UK) »
Although I have been researching various family lines for many years, I am newly interested in Great Salkeld from about 1700 to 1750.  I cannot find any indexes for wills from this era and feel I am going around in circles.  Find My Past is supposed to have an index but it is just a preface.  I also cannot find the BMD records online available to download.  I have had terrible problems with County Durham in this regard, but was hoping for more luck in Cumberland. Does anyone know where I can find these records online so that I can download them.
Many thanks
