If the next child was born in 1943, how did this man manage it?
(Assuming he wasn’t released after capture?)

1940 marriage was in Wiltshire - as are all Martin/Hams births  - 1938/43/46/47/48/51

No previous Martin/Hams marriages before 1938 - next one is 1953

If he was still a PoW after 1943 - sadly he wouldn't be the first man to come home & find another mans child in the household.
