I am trying to find the date of death for Leonard Barraclough, he died Feb 1995 in Bradford. As this year is the 30th anniversary I would like to remember him on the day. His wife was Alice and son Winston but neither are here to ask, thanks

Please see header on board - How to use Rootschat - Please don't post requests here
I have asked moderator to move your post to the W Yorks board
He didn't leave a will as his date of death would have been on the Probate website. Do you know where he was buried or cremated as the record office would be able to give you his death date

Yes - I have just checked the Probate Calendar - not listed.
You may have to purchase the death certificate from the General Register Office if you don't know where he is buried.
Places of interest;
Lancashire, West Yorkshire, Southern Ireland, Scotland.

He did attend Great Horton Methodist church and lived at Horton Bank Top so the funeral may have been at the Methodist church or Shelf parish church

Perhaps contact the church - they may have records.
His son was Joseph Winston Barraclough. He married in 1974. As Leonard only died 1995 are either of the stepdaughters able to help with info

I would just purchase the death certificate to obtain the exact date.
