Hi again all,
Re: Jane Dayus (1826-1912) - her common-law-husband, Charles Dayres, b. about 1824, Shropshire (guess) last name? Also, a second possible John Dayns as well.
Updated tree on Jane's parental related info. from this thread - so thankful.
Now I need to research Jane's common-law-husbands, Charles (and John). There is no marriage information, or a father listed on birth certificates for her five children.
However, four of the children married (including Louisa Dayres mmn 1848-1922, my ancestor).
Is anyone able to access the marriage certificates to see if anyone listed a father?
(As I write this, oh my gosh, I now see one of the Ancestry entries says John Dayns (Jane's mmn though, variant spelling).

1. Louisa Dayus (mmn) (1848-1922) = Thomas Morris (mine). Just seen a possible father as Charles Dayns (Jane/partner's mn)?

Best wishes,
