Well John Walter is just Walter on 1939, so possibly

He's not with his dad on 1881, although his older siblings are. His mother died in 1872, and Benjamin remarried in 1874 and had a load more children,  so maybe he's away somewher

Forgot to say Walter's birth is indexed as Kimblin on GRO, but it's the right family as his mother's maiden name is the same as his older sibling (Burden)

Still no sign 1881 and 1891. His maternal grandmother and an uncle and aunt are also in the Liversedge area in 1871 and remain up north, but can;t find a stray young lad with them

Looking at census  it would appear that John or Walter was born 1870/1871, only once is his birth shown as   ?  Sept 1865.

I believe his parents to be Benjamin Kimberlee and Phoebe Burdin/Burden.
