was george bennett b 1868 Tipton,Staffs. in Mansfield Woodhouse in 1921
Bennett, Tennant, Richards, Price.....Staffordshire
Reid, Brown, Harrison, Saunders, Coetzer........South Africa and Scotland.

FindMyPast have no results for George Bennett in Nottinghamshire in 1921.

ADDED:

There is a George Bennett with family living in Gravesend, Kent.  He is a Gardener and birthplace is given as Abbots Bromley.
Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.
Remember - "They'll be found when they want to be found" !!!

Hi bigjon,

You haven’t given many clues about your grandad.  :-\

So this is my guess. As George’s family is in Mansfield in 1911 and the children were born in different counties I can see the son John Isaac was born in Shirebrook, Derbyshire = GRO  DecQ 1902 Mansfield R/D - mother’s maiden name Tenant. The family is living on Sherwood St, Mansfield Woodhouse by 1921.

It looks like George Bennett is living with Thomas & Charlotte Lambert at Clumber St, Shirebrook – Married & born Princes End, South Staffordshire, aged 58.
