1921 census living in Bradford
John William Uttley age 29 born Burnley
Jane Uttley age 26 born Bradford
Freda Uttley age 8 months born Bradford
George Winterburn, brother in law age 35 born Bradford

John Uttley married Jane Winterburn in Bradford in1913.

In 1939 register John has died,Jane listed as born 26 Feb 1895.

Now here's the problem. I can't find Jane going back. Tried lots of variations.
Any help on earlier census would be great please.

Many thanks
Nicky

Slightly out, but Ancestry have a baptism - 2 April 1891 - St Mary Magdalene, Manningham

Jane Winterburn - born 25 February 1891, baptised 2 April - Jane, daughter of Samuel (Labourer) and Mary Jane of 15 Regent Street.

Using FreeBMD and the name Jane Winterburn - there is a birth registration in Bradford RD - June quarter 1891, and then using GRO - mother's maiden name is Marriott.

FreeBMD show a marriage in December quarter 1874, Bradford RD - Samuel Winterburn and Mary Jane Marriott appear on the same page.

There's a Sam and Mary J Winterburn on the 1901 Census at 15 Regent Street with a George that fits the 1921 Census - ref RG13  4161  76  9

No Jane but I recall seeing a possible Jane as a patient in hospital in 1901 - need to revisit.

Added - 1901 ref Jane RG13  4155  164  9
