Me too.
Amazing isn’t it!
WythenshawHospital gave me a discharge letter ,highlighted in fluorescent yellow marker that I was to see The Cardiac Consultant, no sign of that yet even though I mentioned it to the lovely Heart Failure Nurse- who is very good  - and showed her the highlighting -this week at my appointment !

Things are so stretched and I am amazed the NHS is running as well as it is.
One real, problem is that the letters dictated by the Nurse don’t get typed for several weeks ,that causes a monthly crisis with drug adjustments , as my G,P. Can’t alter my prescriptions on just my say so —— I was questioned was  I self prescribing!
Surely the letters go electronically .

Well a really lazy day ,in many ways but some batch cooking done .
When cool packed in portions for freezer.

A good day tomorrow - weather forecast.

Look after yourselves folks. Viktoria.

Curiously two or three days after my GP sent her letter I received a text from the hospital which was a short survey asking patients on the list whether they still wanted the operation! They said they were reviewing their waiting list in case people had dropped out!  Death or private hospital for treatment, I wonder??

My OH is waiting for surgery. He got a text message on Christmas Day asking if he wanted to stay on the waiting list!

Manx Care (our version of NHS) is having budget problems, and blaming the doctors pay award!
Consequently Liverpool NHS Trust has put all care for Manx patients on hold until the new financial year :o

So, I'm still waiting for a shunt, for my hydrocephalus.

I haven't KG, that's why I thought I'd mention it in as gentle a way as possible.  :)
