Hi,
I'm trying to find information on someone who was in the Merchant Navy. All I have is his name, no idea when he was in the Merchant navy but he used to go to reunions in Blackpool.
Kind Regards

You do not say the suspected period but try a search on

Last Name First Initial

on Discovery at The National Archives.

You may get lucky and find his seamen's records (pouch) in BT 372 series.

Ross
Sea Losses of RAF Aircraft 1918 to date.

RAF Coastal Command 1939-45.

Between the Wars RAF Officers and Warrant Officers.
