WHERE "THE HECK" ARE THE HAGUES
« on: Friday 17 January 25 16:27 GMT (UK) »
Morning:   My 1st cousin 2 rem. is ANNIE HAGUE, daughter of Harry Frost Hague and Agnes Jane Cooper.  Annie was born in Queensland on  11 July 1894  .  I then have an Annie Hague married to EITHER Henry Walker Harris  or  Frederick Charles Harris.  Henry is buried with Annie at Belgian Gardens Cemetery, Townsville, Section A4, Row 8, Mem.ID 185873920.  My confusion comes in that while some trees are recording Frederick to be her husband, same dates, I can find no proof that he is not.  I know I should not believe other trees, but before I add Henry, I need to be able to rule out Frederick definitely.  I have tried to enter Queensland BMD records this morning, but am not able.

So... could anyone please help me confirm that Frederick is out of the picture and that Henry is correct?  I would truly appreciate any direction that would help.

The obituary for Annie's mother, Agnes Jane, lists two daughters, one being Mrs. F.G. Harris  (G could be a typo), living in Brisbane.  Very possibly, this is Annie married to Frederick Charles Harris.
The Henry Walker Harris is then very possibly married to another Annie, and they are both buried at Belgian Gardens.  This is worth researching, for sure.

Interestingly, Annie HAGUE was bridesmaid at the wedding of Edwin HAGUE (Annie HAGUE's brother) and Nellie DONOHUE (Annie DONOHUE's sister).
