As well as missing a birth record for Constance, I don't see one for a marriage or the birth of Conrad W. b. 1922 either?
Henry Julius was interned at Ruhleben in Germany from 1914-1915, quite possibly he married Wilhemine and his children were born overseas.

You replied while I was typing and confirmed the marriage - thanks!

I had initially confused him with another Henry J who married Daisy Day (lovely name!) in Lambeth about the same time.

Hi Osprey

That goes a long way to explaining why and where they might be at these times, including the trip to South Africa in 1949.  This is so much easier than the the ag. labs. in my direct family who didn't leave this sort of detail!
