There are a pair of semi detached houses on street view - 28 and 30 Lower Leicester Road which have ‘Western Terrace’ set into the wall. The stone plaque may have been reused.
They look to be opposite 1-11 which has been mentioned.

Added photographs of the houses are readily available on searching.

Just to add to the evidence in support of the Leicester Road connection:

15 March 1937: Leicester Daily Mercury, has a report of a house-breaking in "Western-terrace, Leicester-road, Lutterworth". Names mentioned are Ada Weston and her son Bertram.

I've drawn a blank on map searches. There is an intriguing short terrace of older houses on the west side of Leicester Road, just before the junction with Crescent Road. These six houses are currently numbered  23-33 (odd numbers) but on the 1962 large scale map they are numbered 1-11.  Heading north, out of town, from there everything looks redeveloped or 1930s semis.

Thankyou very much Alan for taking the time to research on my behalf and then posting your findings.

As you mention, it looks to confirm and support the evidence of the Leicester Road connection.

Many thanks again Alan  ;)

Many sincere thanks heywood for your reply and for the details and link you enclose.

Looks very much like you have finally cracked the conundrum of Western Terrace. You have explained and provided a link, whilst also mentioning the stone plaque in the wall of the two properties.

You have been very kind and generous with your time researching on my behalf  ;)

Many thanks again heywood.
