Healey's from Doneraille
« on: Wednesday 14 September 05 05:12 BST (UK) »
My anscestors came from Doneraille , Ireland in 1825 to Peterborough County, Ontario, Canada in 1825 as part of the Peter Robinson expedition.

Patrick Healey, born 1790 and Daniel Healey born 1777 and their wives and children were part of this major emmigration.

I knopw the ships they left on from Cove, Ireland but I have not been able to get any previous info.

If you can assist, I would be very appreciative as I don't know where to go.

Thanks

Jack

M. Walsh, sorry youv'e waited so long, also not into Healey's,bit my 'name's'are iin Doneraile also. The port you need is Cobh not Cove, was QUEENStown! Not acceptable after 1922!!Record's pretty sparse after burning of same,to destroy debt's,crime's,littering street's etc:But get into the swim on this site and you will be amazed,as I have been, more than once.
Are you in more than this County?Ireland General?Common Room?Name index?Cover all the bases, getting a rollicking ;D might be worth it.
