Oh my you are marvellous at navigating the websites. That is amazing. Yes I was having a little difficulty in deciphering the text. So good to find a sister for John and another connection to the Gooding family. I may yet find births for Elizabeth Taylor and George Davy. I'm desperate to find a connection between Elizabeth Taylor and this family....https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/details/LXSB-YKK
https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/details/GFQS-8PY
As Mary Ann Taylor's husband Charles George Mason was owner of Beenleigh Manor Farm Estate in Harbertonford where John Davy lived in the 1861 census before emigrating to Australia. And then we come full circle where he names his farm in Queensland Australia, Beenleigh.
Pieces of the puzzle are coming together. Thank you Neale1961

That is a very sizeable amount of property that he inherited in the Will, and George died relatively young, so he didn’t have time to accumulate it on his own.
So where did all the family wealth come from? Inherited through the Davey line, or through a good marriage somewhere. I have looked at a number of Davy wills (all available free at the Archives), but nothing obvious found.
