I need some help identifying the father of Agnes Maria. She was born out of wedlock on the 22nd of April 1866 in Kokkola to the sailors daughter Sofia Kålander.

She was enumerated in the following census:

according to the census:
family consists of Caisa Sofia, mother of Anders Gustaf & Maria Sofia, and the 2 children of Maria Sofia (Agnes & Erland)
no mention of the father of Agnes or Erland

It took me some time to figure it out, but this is what it means:
It's to testify that the sin of having a child born out of wedlock was 'forgiven'. In your case it happened twice.

Abs(olverat) 4/6/1866 efter 1. laierm(ål) (a few months after the birth of Agnes)
Abs(olverat) 16/12/67 efter 2. laierm(ål) (a few months efter the birth of Erland)

Do you know if there are any records that contain more information about these testimonies? I'm hoping I can find the father of Agnes and Erland by consulting them.

The only thing I can think of is checking the marriages of Agnes and Erland. If, and it is a big IF, they have known their biological father, he might have been mentionned in the certificate. Otherwise I don't see any chance to unravel this mystery.
