FindMyPast gives this census reference, apologies I don't know how to parse this to get the relevant bits.

Hello,
The info I found on George, b Surrey 1892, was from familysearch, and it was from his military record.
According to that ,there are six children, some born Wolverhampton, the others are the Shropshire kids.
And it also states he's married to Hilda Mary  Farrington.

Good find.  Second childs birthdate 29.10.1921 - suggests an earlier marriage

Hi all,
Having spoken to one of George's children, who is 90, she tells me there was an older brother called Charles, and also a younger brother, called George.
They weren't on the military records......it would be good to find them if possible.
I'm helping this lady to find some of her family tree.

I can't see the military record itself, just the summary on familysearch

Third Child's Birth Date   6 September 1928 Presumably Charles, if registered in early October 1928
Fourth Child's Birth Date   13 March 1935
Fifth Child's Birth Date   27 June 1938
Sixth Child's Birth Date   20 July 1933

Matching the birth registrations I can find to these dates, I think the 1921 data is a typo and it should  be 1931. There's a birth registration with mother's maiden name Farrington that fits that date - also it's just such an outlier from the rest.

The George you mentioned was b 1942, so not in this list
