I have Pro Tools but only have 24 groups, so it looks like it's another feature that's being rolled out gradually.

Slowly being rolled out, I got the expansion about an hour go but others had it 12 hours ahead of me. It's broken my tree again so I can't edit it or review hints (happens whenever Ancestry start fiddling).

The 64 group option has come up for me this evening, but I'm a bit concerned about what will happen to the extra groups when I let my Pro Tools subscription lapse.

I got this today but I have another dilemma - do I focus on location grouping or go to the 64 family name grouping?

I can see merit in both but it would mean extra fiddling work to reclassify - where location grouping is just an add on to the ones I have

I think Glen in an earlier thread has pointed out there is no connection between protools and number of groups extension to 64.

I got the 64 new groups message this morning and it now says I have 18/64 groups allocated. However there are still only 32 colours available to create new groups. The 18 colours already allocated do not appear crossed out as before. To test it I created ten new groups ie above the previous max of 24. That worked but the colours allocated are not crossed out and I could allocate the same colour to several groups. Looks bugged to me.
