Lookup request; McGough family; Dundalk, Co Louth, IRL
« on: Saturday 14 December 24 18:24 GMT (UK) »
Hi all:
Here is what I have definitively;
Rose McGough; b. 1826; Seatown, Dundalk, Co Louth, IRL Baptism certificate for her and twin brother Thomas.
I believe Ancestry Thrulines indicates Patrick McGough and Ann McDonnell as parents.
Does anyone see additional info re: this family, siblings, relatives in the Dundalk area?
Best regards,
Chuck

Hi:
I have all of those in my McGough tree in my Campbell family of Seneca County in Ancestry.com
If I remember correctly, Pat McGough was a blacksmith in Penn Yan, not far from Geneva NY where the other McGough's initially settled. I think the documentation tying him to my Rose McGough were not as solid but enough that I put him in the tree.

Best regards from Western NY
Chuck
