David Maxwell Banks 1808-
« on: Friday 13 December 24 16:32 GMT (UK) »
I am trying to find the death of David Maxwell Banks, he was a manufacturer in Coupar Angus.  I can see him in the 1851 census along with his family under the name D Maxwell Banks.  Feb 1883 there is a Sequestration sale of property belonging to him but was adjourned till October 1856 when it now says "sometimes belonged to Maxwell Banks thereafter to Jean Jack".   Jean Jack was his wife.  On his daughter Isabellas marriage in 1862 he was deceased.  I have looked for David or Maxwell Banks death from 1851 - 1862 but cannot find him.  Does anyone else have him in their tree or an ideas of tracking him down?  Thanks.

The references to Maxwell Banks do not include given name David in the newspaper articles in the early 1850s that I can spot. They also lacked the very significant " ... the late ....".
The earliest I could spot, which included "the late ..." was -
Dundee, Perth and Coupar Advertiser, 9 Dec 1862
