She isn't found by me in 1939.
There is a Florence Waldron death Mar qtr 1970. Chelsea.  Born 26 August 1891.
There is a probate.

Thanks so much for your quick reply, unfortunately this does not seem to be the Thos Weir I am researching!

Do you mean the 68 year old Thos Weir in the death notice is also not the one you are looking for.

The information on address from the probate record matches the newspaper clipping but appears to be the wrong person  :)

Rosie

Yes thanks for pointing that out Rosie. I wasn't sure if the original poster was wanting info on this man or the man who died in 1887 aged 73, or in fact the other Thomas Weir who died in 1888 aged 61, who's also buried at Danygraig Cemetery. Reading your post however, you seemed to be implying there's a probate for someone with the right name and right address who is the wrong person - so who is that for ?

Florence Gwendoline Waldron born 1891
Rootschat thread about the same family.
A lot has been found on here, don't understand how Florence Waldron death can be the wrong one when probate has her full name.

Thank-you all for this added information and all your recent help.
Yes seems Florence died as single lady in 1970.She also did quite a bit of travelling between UK and USA by the looks of it.
She lost her parents at quite a young age then her grandmother so may have had the means to do the travelling once she was old enough.
