Lennox Castle Hospital, Near Glasgow, in Stirlingshire

Looking for Katherine Vera Boyd who gave birth in this hospital in June 1950.
I'm told it was perhaps some sort of mental institution, but birth record doesn't show this.
Any information about the hospital would be appreciated, in particular if there are any records to be had.

 Lennox Castle  Hospital -  A maternity unit was established on the site in 1941 which operated until 1964. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lennox_Castle

Never trust anything you find online (especially submitted trees and transcriptions on Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast and other commercial web sites) unless it's an image of an original document - and even then be wary because errors can and do occur.
