Margaret McLennan Born Glasgow Circa 1858
« on: Monday 25 November 24 19:57 GMT (UK) »
I have been searching for birth details of my great grandmother Margaret Ann McLennan born about 1858 in Glasgow deducted from the 1881 Census.  According to her Marriage Certificate her father was William McLennan and they were living in Kirdale, Liverpool.

The only details I can find of Margaret is post 16 June 1878 when she married my great grandfather George Blake in Liverpool.  William was recorded as a Mariner and I did find a record of a William McLennan on a crew list but I couldn't verify that it is him and it took me no further.

any help appreciated.

Kind regards
Brian

Thanks Neale I have her Marriage Certificate but that's the best I can do for her history.  It shows her father as William and living in Kirkdale but I cant find any records of her or William at that time.

Thanks Neale 1961 sorry I didn't mean to sound impertinent.  I get it now.   Thank you.
