John McGrory 1815

I'm researching my Great great Grandfather John McGrory born in Pettigo in 1815.
He died in Sheridan, Co Tyrone in 1893.
He was married to Bessy Young.
I have a copy of his death certificate with Bessy named on it.
I haven't found any records for his marriage or his birth.
I have plenty of birth records of his children with Bessy, between 1855 and 1873.

Looking on Ancestry there are a few candidates for his father.
There is a Bernard McGrory born 1770
An Arthur McGrory born in 1795 who emigrated to Australia in 1851, but I think he might be his brother. His father is Bernard named above.
But to throw a spanner in the works, I have a copy of a will of John McGrory who died in 1880, in Portnably. I think he was 95 when he died, but as yet I don't have his death certificate.
He leaves his farm to Daniel McGrory, James McGrory or his Grandson John, - living in Philadelphia - in his will. John McGrory b1815 was a farmer!

EDIT I think he might've been married previously, as Bessy Young was 24 years younger than him?

I have previously posed a question on here about John, but I thought he was born c1842.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

In his will-
The Will of John M'Grory late of Pettigo County Donegal Farmer deceased who died 28 March 1880 at same place was proved at Londonderry by the oath of James M'Grory of Cashel in said County Farmer the sole Executor.
Date of Grant : 14 April 1880

He leaves his farm at Portnably [sic] to Daniel McGrory and his premises in Pettigo to his grandson John McGrory of Philadelphia.

Farmers tended to stay in the one place if they could. If John McGrory had  a farm in Portnablahy, then that’s probably where he as born.  That’s in the RC parish of Carn. Sadly their baptisms only start in 1851 and marriages in 1836. Nothing earlier. So chances are there’s no record for his baptism to be found. And probably none for his marriage.

Griffiths Valuation for 1862 lists a Daniel McRory and Ellen McRory in Portnablahy. He had plot 8a which was a house and 20 acres and she had plot 8b a house and small garden.  Was Daniel John’s father?

I think Winfred in the census could be Winny Walsh who was married to Daniel McGrory. They had several children in the area.
Ellen is a witness to one of the baptisms in 1863
