I hope that someone maybe able to clear up a little bit if confusion regarding William and his family, please. William was born in 1720, bapt 18/6/1720 at Royston St. John and married Elizabeth Armitage there 17/11/1743. they seem to have had three children, Joshua, Sally and Anne before his wife died in 1746. It appears that William then went on to have seven more children before his death in 1767, including another Joshua. I think confusion reigns partly because William's father was also called William, and outlived his son, as was one of his own sons...something that was quite common, also I cannot find a mother anywhere for his seven children following the death of Elizabeth, (if this is correct). I think some of the entries on certain family sites have somehow got their wires crossed, any help would be welcome please.
