Graveyard photograph, St Andrews Church, HOLCOMBE, wanted.

 Is there anyone who could spare the time to take a photograph of a family headstone that is in the burial ground of St Andrews Church Holcombe. I would be extremely grateful for any help.
Headstone, JOHN WILLIAM HIRST, 1910-1997.
                 ANNIE LOUISE HIRST,  1906-2002.
I cannot be specific as to any plot number im'e afraid.

I live in Ramsbottom, there is a St,Andrew’s Church here.


It was built as a Scottish Presbyterian Church by  the Grant family who had come to Ramsbottom from Speyside.

After their deaths a nephew had it closed and re consecrated as Church of England.It has a graveyard .
Very close by is Holcombe Village, with  a church ,Holcombe Emmanuel .
Perhaps the greater parish is Holcombe, because  that  is the oldest parish think .
If you think this is of any help I feel pretty sure the graves in St Andrew’s will be recorded.
I will try to find out who could help, the Church Council or Ramsbottom  Heritage Society.
I realise there could be more than one Holcombe .
The one know is in Lancashire ,North of Bury .

This Holcombe is near Radstock in Somerset.   
The church is about a mile out of Holcombe along a single track.

Findagrave has several graves mentioned and a few photos but no sign of our people.  Why not post a request on there for a photo.

Tried Find a Grave, nothing. Also Gravestone Photographic Resource. There is the grave on the site but unfortunately the site has not functioned since April owing to the serious illness of the person running the site and I am unable to get a copy. So I am hoping someone on this great Rootschat site can help. Many thanks to those who have replied to this post.

The photo has been requested before. I did put in a request, but I have not had a reply. Charles Sale runs the site but has not been able to continue since April owing to serious health problems.

Gravestone Photographic Resource. England. Somerset. Holcombe St Andrews. There is a photograph of the headstone I am looking for. The site has not been running since April. I have requested a photograph but do not envisage any hope.

We’re on holiday this week in Somerset not far from Holcombe, and today I was able to get a photograph of the headstone you’re interested in. I know St Andrews Church at the site of the previous settlement at Holcombe quite well from living in Coleford nearby, and was pleased to have a reason to go back!
