Anyone having problems with FindMyPast today?

I am finding it a tad slow and also when searching I am getting strange results. For example, several times when I have being searching the Censuses (mainly 1861;1871 and 1881) when I click 'view' I get an error message saying that the 1921 Census is unavailable due to maintenance!

It was creaking and falling over earlier today when I tried it, so looks like they have issues yes

I realise that they have a free weekend as they have had in the past but this time it is not fit for purpose especially the people who pay to use it.

Going to give up now (and tomorrow)!!

Really annoying, they offer these free weekends but it knocks all of us out of the system. It thinks I am on the free account and pop ups to remind me I am 'using this for free' appears over records I am trying to view, no I have PAID! This weekend I regularly get Cloudflare errors when it crashes on me often and it tells me it is FindMyPast which is the problem. They advertise all this for free but we can't all use it at the same time. Not really fair but I guess it may get them a few customers more, and they reckon the risk of it irritating the paid long standing customers is worth it as they are unlikely to end their subscriptions ::)

I find refreshing the screen usually brings it back.  Sunday will probably have been the busiest day.  It seems to have stopped flagging up the records you have already looked at, so difficult to keep track if working through a list.

It was OK for me earlier yesterday, then as soon as an email at 14:28 reminding me to make the most of free access hit my mailbox, the website almost ground to a halt.

Can't think why I got the email, since I have a premium sub and have done for many years.

I am not very happy with them as I currently have a 3 month Premium sub which is supposed to include newspapers. But having just found a newspaper item of interest, it is telling me I must upgrade or pay to view  >:(

It seems they have "simplified" the subscriptions. They should honour the terms I subscribed under.

I have a premium account too and this keeps doing it to me, I contacted them about this, and they agreed I have access to the newspapers. If you contact them they will look into it.
