Thanks. They had better do more than "look into it".
This is clear enough.

It is really annoying, I agree totally.
I sent them URL's and screenshots, so they had better fix it soon!

Re: Find My Past - 30% off

I had a 3 month premium subscription due to expire in December. I logged on today and saw there was an offer of 30% off subscriptions. This made the annual cost of the new Everything subscription £139.99 but my upgrade figure was based on the full price of £200.  I assumed this was because the offer was only open to new subscribers but thought I’d try customer services just in case.  They straight away applied the offer to my account and I was able to upgrade for the discounted price of £139.99 less a refund for the remainder of my existing 3 month subscription.

Just thought I’d mention it in case anyone else wants to give it a try.

I pay a monthly sub to FindMyPast and have done for about 4 years now. Before that I used to just pay the odd sub here and there.

Thanks for bringing this up. I've just checked and they say that my all singing sub will go up to £169.99 in March from £139.99.

I am not very happy with them as I currently have a 3 month Premium sub which is supposed to include newspapers. But having just found a newspaper item of interest, it is telling me I must upgrade or pay to view  >:(

It seems they have changed the subscription range. They should honour the terms I subscribed under.

I have a premium account too and this keeps doing it to me, I contacted them about this, and they agreed I have access to the newspapers. If you contact them they will look into it.

I had the same problem as well, and just in case this applies to you:
My browser is Mozilla Firefox, and FindMyPast was running horribly for days even after their free blitz, and although I should be able to see the newspapers, it kept telling me to upgrade.
The fix for me was to turn OFF the "shield" for site tracking, in the url address bar.   I don't know if it's the same symbol and location for other browsers, but it would also be in your settings.

If you have a "shield" icon, click on it while at FindMyPast, and turn it off.  The shield symbol will remain, but have a slash through it, like the attached image:
