Hi I'm searching for information about  Arthur Rogers born 5 Th November 1901 he could have been born in Yorkshire ? But spend all of his life in different areas of London Wandsworth Milton Keynes where I think he died and buried there in 1974 he married in London around 1950 to Gwendoline  Burrows born around 1931 and they had 13 children I still haven't found a Marriage certificate. Arthurs family has tried to find information regarding there father background  Birth certificate  left his parents siblings they think his parents .could have been Fairground people all the 13 Children grow up London could be Wandsworth the family would be very grateful for any information regarding Arthur Rogers as they would really appreciate any help

There is an Arthur Rogers with date of birth 3rd November 1901 which has also been altered to another date on the 1939 register in Lewisham which could link to a fairground family.

ADDED The date of birth was amended a couple of years later

I think that you need to purchase that 1950 marriage certificate in the hope he has named a father.

Only 2 births in the Dec qtr 1901 for an Arthur Rogers with no other christian names. 

One born Guildford - mmn was Baker

One b Wolstanton mmn was Jones

Hi thank you so much for this information I think it's definitely a good idea to buy the marriage certificate as it will show who Arthur father is I will pass this on to the family

You mention that he might have been part of a circus family.  There is a board on RC called Travellers or travelling people if you scroll right down from the main page.
