If his parents were Mr and Mrs Isaac Wood of 68 Avon Street, Bath, and he had brothers Frederick and William, he was in the 1st Somersets.

Age at discharge was recorded on the SWB record as 34.

I think the above man is NOT correct, as your Joseph Wood was born in Nov. 1891.

Unfortunately, a rather common name and lack of service records.

Maybe someone will recognise the shoulder badge. If you can get a better close-up of it, that may help.

I don't immediately recognise the shoulder title however this man appears to be from
a mounted Regt. hence the bandolier.
RE, RFA drivers typically wore these but the shoulder title isn't either one.
Shoulder titles were typically one word denoting the Regt. or Corps.
Very few have  two, Notts & Derby, Liverpool Scottish & Tyneside Scottish
spring to mind but it's certainly not the last 2.
The only others are for Territorials & they had a capital "T" above.
So still a mystery.
Do you know if he was still serving when he married?

I have no information on any of his military history . Two of his brothers served in the Somerset Light Infantry and one in The Royal Flying Corps but none after the war stayed  in .

He is wearing a bandolier so was on horses.

There are 2 words on the title so he is not Somerset LI or the Welsh.
