Looking for Hannah Entwistle.
« on: Friday 01 November 24 16:56 GMT (UK) »
Could anyone please look up Hannah Entwistle in the 1851 and 1861 census, she lived in Latchford or Grappenhall, Warrington and at the time of the census would have been in her late twenties or early thirties, If possible I would like to know her occupation and address as I think she could have been the licensee of a public house.

1851 - St James Street, Grappenhall

Possible wife of John.  HO107/2203 folio 681 page 62

Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.

Did she remarry in Grappenhall in 1857 to a John Lecker? There is a Cheshire Parish Marriage record for her (if it is her!)

If so she was not a publican in 1861, although living in Latchford in the parish of Grappenhall with her new husband, some of his children and some of hers.
Places of interest;
Lancashire, West Yorkshire, Southern Ireland, Scotland.

Should have said -- she is mistranscribed on the Ancestry website in 1861 - so if you are looking for her on there - just search on her first name, approximate birth year and her birth place.

You will find her with the new husband and the mixed children of them both.

(The Cheshire Parish record is really worth looking at!!)
