Can anyone help with looking up a death announcement for Alexander James Shearer who died in October 1945.  He was born in  Aberlour, Banffshire in 1856.  All the information I have that the death was registered in Scunthorpe.
He was married to Clara but not sure of her surname.  Possibly Walker.
The births of his family only shows the Mother's name as Clara
Sarah Isabel Shearer born 22 June 1895 in Derbyshire
Alexander Shearer born circa 1905 in Healing, Lincolnshire
Winifred Annie Shearer born May 1907 in Heling, Lincolnshire
His parents were James Shearer & Isabella Rattray

Alexander Shearer  son of Alexander and Clara born 14 January 1905(1939)  reg. Grimsby mother's maiden name Walter
ADDED Baptism has DOB as 9 January bap 19 January 1905 at Healing

Winifred Annie 1907 reg. Grimsby mmn Walter died 14 January 1948 spinster-probate to Sarah Isabel Foote wife of Fred Foote.

Sarah Isabel Shearer 1895 reg. Chesterfield has mothers maiden name as Walker.

Alexander James Shearer married Clara WALKER 1895 reg. Worksop

As the younger children have Walter as mothers maiden name perhaps the name was misunderstood and should be Walker.
A copy of the marriage certificate would be useful.

1911 Clara married 17 years has had 4 children 3 living 1 deceased

The other child could be Thomas Shearer reg. Doncaster 1902 mothers maiden name WALKER

Baptism St George Doncaster 23 April 1902 father Alexander (Gentleman's servant) mother Clara

This child was buried 26 April 1902 age 9 days Hyde park Cemetery.
