An unaccountable Washington Kirk.

There is of course that ^(*) Kirk 1938- may still be with us, but as the rest of her family are now deceased.

Her parents were Roy Robert Kirk 1906-1984 and Margaret Lou Gentry 1913-1965.
Her two brothers and one sister have also passed away.
I can only trace
^(*) back to Pullman, Washington in 1959.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ancestry.com trees have the wrong death information for the daughter born in 1936.
Roy Robert's daughter was born late May or early June 1936:

To Mr. and Mrs. Roy Robert Kirk, Medical Lake, a daughter, Sacred Heart [the hospital in Spokane, probably]

The ancestry tree says she died 3 August 1986.  But the woman who died on that date was survived by a mother Helen, in Buffalo, Kansas,

and that lady seems to have been born on 21 Oct 1936, based on a Social Security record of a Mary E Kirk who died in 1986.

The surname in that obituary is similar to the one I found, but the last two letters are off.  I would guess it's an error rather than a different person.

I sent the information via private message because she may still be alive.  It is against the rules of RootsChat to post about people who are or may be alive.  We generally use the rule of thumb of people born less than 100 years ago, and that applies to someone born in the 1930's, as is the case here.

Please do not add her married name to this public thread or any recent details of where she lives, as she may still be alive.
