Census
« on: Friday 18 October 24 20:10 BST (UK) »
I have recently found some old census records of my ancestors that I thought that I had lost, in the mean time I thought I would search for the lost census on Ancestry and find my past but to no avail, in fact I could not find them anywhere so was wondering have I misread the census or is it a fake? As I read it .......Francis Morrison with Ann as his wife and possibly Margaret as his daughter, please take a look and tell me what you think it says.........

Which census is it? 1861?
You've cut off all the reference numbers.
I can just see RG<something> at the bottom of the page. RG09 is 1861; RG10 is 1871, etc.
Then there should be Piece No and Folio No.

RG9 / 3137 Page 22

On Ancestry 1861 Census - Lancashire - Preston - District 52 - 27/55

Francis  Head
Ann  Wife
Ann  Daur

Surname is transcribed as Morison, but I would say it looks more like Mouson.
Terry, Greenway, Hudson, Conway, Simmonds, Childs, Oram, Dee, Bennett, Smith, Sturge, Bolas, Gibbons

Thanks very much to everyone, have just sent for a 1883 birth record for a John Morrison thinking his mother Dinah (a single mother)  is a relative as it gives her address as Jennet Street the same street as Francis and Ann so I wanted to be double sure that it was the same street and now Im pretty sure she is a relative of mine. ;D
