Can anyone find an obituary or other record of Percival George Smith?  Here is what I have:

Born 3 October 1907 23 Warner St, Islington, London
Resided 1911 Lower Holloway, Islington, London with parents George and Charlotte Smith
Died June 1979 Chichester, Sussex (Vol 18 p1518)

Subject header says Welch - message Smith??  Details posted match surname Smith died Chichester Sussex - not Surrey - so you need to amend your Header to avoid confusion.  I have amended it on this reply but you need to do the same

Have you looked for him on the 1939 register or looked for a marriage for him?  www.freebmd.org.uk

1939 details can't be posted here as its only available by subscription but both Ancestry & FindMyPast offer a free index search & most local libraries offer free Ancestry access

No apparent probate entry

Buying a copy of the death cert will show who reported the death but that is not always a relative so may not help

The family is in the 1921 census at 14 Sebbon Street, Islington

There is no birth reg for a Percy E or Percival E Smith in the Dec qtr 1907 & he is the only match to a birthdate of 3.10.07 on the 1939 register
