Hi, Photo of my dad, on the left, during his merchant navy days. On the back there's just "Bob New York". Probably late '50's.
Would it be possible to brighten it up a wee bit and maybe identify the street?

Its a low resolution scan - 96dpi. A higher resolution scan at 300dpi would have produced better result
