What time period are we looking for? And do you mean a Jacob EDMONDSON who married a Sarah and lived at Pateley Bridge?

Which Jacob & Sarah Edmondson & what were their birthyears?  The 1861 census has  Jacob Edmondson b 1798 born Pateley Bridge but his wife wasn't Sarah in 1841

The 1841 has a Jacob & Sarah born in the 1770's

A tree on Ancestry has a Jacob Edmondson b 1832 Horsforth marrying a Sarah Ann Wade in 1854 & dying 1904 Northumberland.  The tree shows his father as Edward & Edwards parents as Jacob & Sarah

Ancestry 1861 has him as Edmanson

That tracks back to the 1841 entry I mentioned above. 

Sarah died 1848 & Jacob 1853.  No obvious connection to Pateley Bridge
