Does anyone have fathers/grandfathers who were stationed in Gibraltar with the above regiment in 1945/7?  Trying to find out where they were sent after Gibraltar. Thank you.

(I think I spotted an newspaper item later the same year about the 1st Battalion embarking in Japan for Malaya?)

Thank you so much. I believe my father was then stationed in the Middle East, possibly Egypt before returning to the UK in late 1947.
