Louisa Burrows (1832-1874)
« on: Wednesday 25 September 24 16:32 BST (UK) »
Hello,
Looking for Immigrant Info and Parents of Louisa Burrows (1832-1874), who was married to Edward Jared Mansfield in 1853 in Vinton, Ohio. It appears she was born in Ft. Wayne, Indiana, and lived in Ohio with Edward. It is possible her Parents were from England, based on previous searches- but not certain.
   Thanks for your wonderful help,
   Brian

Some census suggest she was born Ohio. Attached is 1840 census for a Louisa BURRIS, the census is for Vinton, Ohio--same place she married Edward.

Could you please resend the link for the Birth record you mentioned at the top of the previous post? The link below your statement appears to be a Census Link. Also anything on the 1840 Census?

I have little doubt Louisa's maiden name was Burris. What I could use is parental info of any kind on Louisa Burris and any relevant Immigrant/Naturalization info. If her children's info helps with that, then I suppose you can send that along too.
   Once again, thanks so much!
