William Waldron

William Waldron 22 Oct 1752 Devon, England died May 1824

Who did William marry and did he come from beer?

I know he had a daughter called Elizabeth who was born in Beer Devon about 1782

She married William Cawley from Beer Devon.

Elizabeth's baptism gives her mother's name as Mary:

Most of the records I can see have the family under "Walden" rather than "Waldron", including on Elizabeth's marriage to William Cawley:

William and Mary had several children in Beer; the earliest appears to be Jane in 1780:

This would support this marriage being the correct one, so his wife was Mary Barrett:

Married in 1779. He was a resident of the parish of Seaton and Beer at the time, but the marriage took place in Mary's parish of Dowlish Wake in Somerset.

I don't know if it's my brain letting me down (very possible, as I've had the most awful cold for weeks now), but I can only see a possible burial for William in Beer in 1827?
https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:6T6N-YLF9

Gives an estimated year of birth of 1745.

Hi
Burials at Seaton and Beer
William 1745- 29.10.1827
Mary 1752- 30.1.1820.

Looking at the names of their children I would say he was this chap
William Walden bapt Dowlish Wake 24.12.1749 s of John and Jane .

Can't see Mary's baptism

Beat me to it.
