From their website (About Us page):
The London Archives is funded and managed by the City of London Corporation. We opened as The London Archives in August 2024 and were previously known as London Metropolitan Archives.

5 August 2024.

There is little difference for onsite users. There is a new internal document display area in the open reading room – currently showing the City of London’s copy of Magna Carta. The staircase has been repainted, some of the internal décor has changed from red to green, and the Visitors’ Lounge has new furniture, a better coffee machine and plants on the tables.
