Jane Anne  Davies married the father of William I  Davies, in 1917
So then he took on his father name of Rogerson ,
then later  changed it back to Davies.

There is a newspaper article, in The North Wales Weekly News on 19th September 1946, about the marriage. Gladys was the daughter of the late Mr. S Davies and Mrs A. Davies of 17 David Street, Penmaenmawr.

Annie Davies, born 2 Apr 1892, is at 17 David Street in 1939, with Eurwyn born on 9 Mar 1924, but no Gladys.

Quite a lot of children blanked out at 17 David Street on the 1839 census, so one could be Gladys.

Not certain, but there is a marriage of Annie Williams, in Conway District Jan-Mar 1924, to Shadrach Davies, and a death of Shadrach Davies in Jul-Sep 1931, born c1881.

In 1911, there was a Sadrach Davies, born Caernarfon in 1882, boarding at Celyn Villa Penmaenmawr, Dwygyfylchi, Caernarvonshire.

In 1921, he was still at Celyn Villa, transcribed as Sadiack, brother of Edward Davies, whom was born in 1876.

The marriage article states that Edward Davies, of Celyn Villa, was the uncle of Gladys and gave her away.

In 1901 Shadrach was also with his brother at Hwynfryn Cottage, Paradise Crescent, Dwygyfylchi, Conway, Caernarvonshire.

In 1891, Sadrach Janes (Jones) Davey (Davies) was at 5, Mary Street, Llanbeblig, Carnarvon, Caernarvonshire, with John Davies, a sailor born 1831, Sarah Mary, born 1838, and Edward William, born 1876.

Edward was also there in 1881 with his mother and four siblings.

1871: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:V5B6-FCC

Edward William married Jane Ellen Jones in Conway District Oct-Dec 1899.

I can't find Shadrach's birth, unless he was Shadrach Jones, born Apr-Jun 1883 in Bangor District.
