I am trying to find the birth and parents of Thomas Edmonds (1818-1867)

Can be found living in Wednesbury, Staffordshire in the 1851 census aged 33 born Newtown, Wales
                            Bethnal Green, Middlesex in 1861 census aged 42 born Newtown, Wales
His marriage certificate in 1842 gives father as Thomas Edmonds
He died Rowley Regis, in 1867 aged 49
There is a possible 1841 census entry, village of Kerry, Newtown
Sarah Edmonds aged 70
Thomas Edmonds aged 25 Shoe M
Elizabeth Edmonds aged 20

There is a Thomas Davies or Edmonds baptised 23.8.1818 in Berriew, Powys to an Elizabeth Davies and a Thomas Edmonds - also an Elizabeth baptised in the same location to Thomas and Elizabeth on 21 Jan 1821.

Berriew though, is about 9 miles from Newtown.
Places of interest;
Lancashire, West Yorkshire, Southern Ireland, Scotland.

Yes Pennines I have seen this information but was unsure because of the location and distance.
Rosie: Thomas senior is just given as labourer on Thomas junior marriage certificate. Thomas junior occupation: shoe maker, cordwainer and toll gate collector

I have just found Sarah Edmunds death certificate ( the one from 1841 census) she died in 1846, Kerry village aged 81 widow of Thomas Edmunds ( a shoemaker). The informant was Elizabeth Hindley: Elizabeth Edmunds married Richard Hindley, 1844 in Kerry, her father Thomas Edmunds, a shoemaker

Good finds Peety - although we don't know whether 'Sarah' was Thomas's first wife and the mother of his children.

I can't immediately see a marriage of a Thomas to a Sarah (although that doesn't mean there isn't one lurking around somewhere).
Places of interest;
Lancashire, West Yorkshire, Southern Ireland, Scotland.

This might count out the Thomas in Kerry?

Thomas Edmunds
Death Age    28
Burial         15 Dec 1846,    Kerry
Address           Drefor Dingle

Actually this chap is on 1841 as Thomas Edmund aged 20, a mason. Same address.

So ignore me!
