Without a confirmed mother's name of our ancestor (Christian August Heinrich) Hager's on his marriage certificate or death certificate, I need to widen my search to hopefully bring me back to my direct ancestor. (This plan was successful when I couldn't find my Turner ancestor, a common name in England and Australia, so I followed any name even remotely connected to the family and eventually was able to prove a direct link)
