Ruby Gladys Cumner was born on 15 March 1894, in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, her father, Isaac Cumner jnr., was 51 and her mother, Hannah Amelia Lloyd, was 47. She married Alfred William Hansen on 3 July 1915, in Queensland, Australia. They were the parents of at least 1 daughter. She died on 8 April 1966, in her hometown, at the age of 72, and was buried in Wondai Cemetery, Wondai, Queensland, Australia.

Confusion reigns;   Ruth Gladys was recorded in the 1963 census as living at 56 Joseph Street, Camp Hill, where Alfred appeared to be living with her up until 1952 when he died.
I have not been able to even guess why she would be buried in Wondai, 150 miles from Brisbane.  Her parents, Isaac and Hannah, were buried in Toowong Cemetery.
This move to Wondai doesn't make sense.

Ruth Gladys was recorded in the 1963 census as living at 56 Joseph Street, Camp Hill, ...

The 1963 Electoral roll records Ruby Gladys at Joseph St., Camp Hill. NOTE - This is NOT a census.

I looked for her burial yesterday, without success. A burial in Wondai would seem odd, but not impossible if she had died while there visiting someone.
Most likely place for her burial would be Mt Thompson Crematorium, not only because her husband is there, but it is the nearest to Camp Hill. The find-a-grave site for Mt Thompson Crematorium is NOT complete. I have many of my family members interred there who do not appear on the site.

You can contact Mt Thompson Crematorium by email and ask them to check.

Thanks!  I will contact Mount Thompson.  My error - they are electoral rolls not census.  Thanks for reminding me.

Just a quick note - Ruby Gladys Hansen's death was registered in Brisbane, so it is most likely that she died in Brisbane, not Wondai.

That makes sense.  I have sent off an enquiry to Mount Thompson.  I'll let you know when I receive a reply.
