Are the children still alive?  If so - you need to remove their names from your post.  Rootschat has a strict no living persons policy to protect peoples privacy

An Outward passenger list for the Captain Cook shows a departure date of 9.12.1952 but only Phyllis & 3yr old son shown on it.  Presumably a visit home

It's pay to view on the official Government General Register Office Northern Ireland (GRONI) website, registered at Belfast under the names Phyllis Grieve and Albert McCagherty, it took place on 30 March 1948:

https://geni.nidirect.gov.uk/search/marriage

Added: Don't order the certificate unless you want one, it's much cheaper and quicker to select the 'Full' option, meaning that you will see online an actual image of the marriage registration with all of the information available for 5 credits, which I think is currently £2.50(UK).

Just throwing this in on the off chance it's connected, it's a Kathleen Morrison of Prince Edward Park, Stranmillis, Belfast (wife of James Morrison), who died on 31 March 1973 and the newspaper death notices included mention of a niece Myrtle and Bertie McCagherty, a nephew Herbert Grieve, and a nephew Cecil and Pam, Christchurch, New Zealand. There were several other names included, but maybe still alive, so won't mention them here.

Thanks Gaffy
I see that info on the Belfast forum...I wondered if the birth and marriage info was not available because not quite 100 years..
Thanks again Rick

Mea culpa, I also posted the information on the Belfast Forum, but under a different user name.  The GRONI website does have a 100 year rule for births, but for marriages it's only 75 years, so 1948 is available for you to view.
