Thank you for all the info .I will now read and try to find out about him  ,need to fill in around 60 years  with his family till around 1758.,hopfully on the right track .Thanks again .

Have you been in touch with Dublin Council about Thomas Bell they might be able to tell you more?

Thomas had a sister, Martha, who married an Andrew Smith, merchant in Belfast. They had a daughter, Jane , whom married a Archibald White. Their daughter, Ann married Richard Brown Bamber of Belfast.

Hey ,
thank you so much for the help Thomas Bell was a freeman of the city
So I think it would've been his son also TB   was a freeman  in Dublin so getting nearer
So  I will do some digging tonight thank you all.

 No, I have not yet,
When I came over to do my tree a few years ago I fell over the first day and broke both my arms
so home the next day. Made me think,
 I was starting in front of the family church in my head said come on let go of the family secrets.
My sister said it looked like someone pushed me.
It put me off a bit Now back at it
