RAF medical record of Victor Saberton
« on: Friday 16 August 24 20:03 BST (UK) »
Hi everyone
I’ve recently ordered my great great uncle’s RAF service record from WW2 which says on the front “medical documents forwarded to M.P.N.I” on a stamp which is dated 1961. I think this might be the Ministry of Pensions and National Insurance. Does anyone know if this medical record still exists and if it does how could I access it? Thank you from Faith

It may have been in support of a claim for sickness benefit but his MPNI records would be long gone by now

Sorry, can't help with medical records but was he born in Fulham?
If he was and had a brother Edward who also was in the RAF, there is a piece in the Fulham Chronicle Aug 18th 1944 with photo about the two brothers' reunion in India.

Thanks for your help everyone!
There is a possibility that the record has been destroyed but I’ll see if the archives staff have any more information.
Thanks for your information about the Fulham Chronicle Cathy, yes I’ve seen that it’s lovely to think of them meeting up.
