I had meant for this post to appear before the previous 1940s Miles Hosp photo. But I became bit mixed up and I'm not very skilled with doing all this. Tks for your patience. 
***Hello all, I haven’t been on Rootschat for years now but am back into family history, least a little bit. Have some old photos of Miles Hospital in Qld, Australia where my late mum nursed in the 1940s and I'm hoping they can be enhanced. First two photos (1913 and 1919) are photos from old newspaper articles so am unsure what can be done to improve them. Also have a 1940s photo of the hosp that my late dad took which I'll post separately plus a more recent pic of the hosp (now a private residence), just for reference purposes. And many thanks for any efforts made re these old photos of the hosp.

Many thanks for your efforts with my old 1913 and 1919 hosp photos, Japeflakes and RJ137. The 1919 one has come up much better and I like both versions ... while the 1913 one, well .. I am very aware of how poor the quality of the original is. But appreciate you having a go, Japeflakes. Lightening it up a bit makes it a little clearer. Thanks again.

Leend, please note that your original 1913 image seems to be the wrong way around when compared with the later (1919) one, so I've horizontally flipped the earlier one.
